"Billy's Zombie" is a very entertaining short zombie tale! This is the perfect zombie novella for children of pretty much any age; and as an adult I can say that it is just as entertaining for the young at heart as well.

It's very short, and I don't want to give anything away. So, all I will say is "Billy's Zombie" has an original storyline based on a young boy's anger and his desire for revenge; which is especially exciting since it comes from a genre that has been saturated with pretty much every scenario possible. Bullies beware! You never know what that person whom you are picking on is capable of!!!

Well, I am not sure what can be said about this story that is really any good. I mean we've got a kid who feels that everyone hates him, so he raises a zombie from the dead to go kill everyone he doesn't like. How does he raise a zombie from the dead? Why he checks out a copy of "Contemporary Necromancy" from his local library. It's funny, that's always checked out whenever I go to the library.

So then a little girl tries to show him the error of his ways because she's a Spirit Walker or something so she burns him alive with her magic and he dies. Yeah, real interesting story isn't it?

It's just boring, uninteresting, there's only one zombie in it, and it's about as scary as an episode of Monster High. If you are looking for something good in the zombie genre and you're over the age of 8, then skip this one and read something else.
Great read for my grandson who read it over and over but was a little hard to read for a second grader
